LEPSIS

Laboratory for road Operations, Perception, Simulators and Simulations

The LEPSIS was created in January 2009. It conducts multidiscplinary applied research at the interface between Computer Science and Human science. It contributes to the development of knowledge and tools to observe and analyze the behaviors of individual road and street users (mainly car drivers, cyclists and pedestrians) as they interact with the infrastructure and with other users, in order to design and evaluate innovative solutions to improve their safety and comfort.

LEPSiS contributes to the 1st challenge of Ifsttar's scientific roadmap: to analyze and innovate for sustainable and responsible mobility, and mainly addresses the 1st topic of Ifsttar's objective and performance plan: toward efficient transport and safe travel.
